| Spammers tend to create hundreds and hundreds of throw-away
email and ISP accounts in order to send out their mass mailings. The game of
"Whack-A-Mole" consists of sending abuse reports to their ISPs to get
these accounts shut down.
This comes from a carnival game in which you use a wooden mallet to "whack" moles as they pop their heads up through holes in a board. Every time you've whacked a mole, another one pops up somewhere else. Additional Articles |
