In the late 1970's (1977 through 1979) a group of students at
MIT created the second of the great Interactive Fiction games. This game became
exceptionally popular and was ported to a multitude of computer platforms,
especially after it was converted to FORTRAN and C (this version was named
DUNGEON). The game later became the basis for the Infocom series called Zork,
one of the most popular and fun games ever created.Additional Articles
